Renting in Tivat: choosing an area that fits your day

Compare central Tivat, Seljanovo and Donja Lastva, then check the route, building and everyday details that matter for your rental.

By Riviera Pulse ·

Start with the journeys you will make

A rental search becomes easier when you know what a normal day needs to look like. Write down where you will work, whether you will have a car, what you need to reach on foot and how long you intend to stay. Compare the actual home with those needs before choosing by a town name or a sea-view photograph.

An advertisement saying Tivat can cover different settings. Ask for the property's area and arrange to check the route before committing. A nearby destination on a map does not establish a level walk, an easy road crossing or convenient access to the building.

Central Tivat and the marina area

If your priority is to spend time around the town waterfront, use Pine promenade and Porto Montenegro as reference points when discussing location. Both appear among the attractions identified by Tivat's Tourism Organisation. Ask how the particular apartment connects to the places you will actually use.

Compare the building as carefully as the neighbourhood. Confirm the floor, lift access where needed, parking arrangements, outdoor space and the route from the street to the entrance. A marina-area description does not by itself mean the home is within a managed marina development or includes its facilities.

Seljanovo: check your connection to the waterfront

The Tourism Organisation describes Ponta Seljanova beach as beside Porto Montenegro and reachable on foot from town. That makes the waterfront a useful point of reference when comparing homes advertised in Seljanovo.

Check the apartment's position within the area. Ask whether your route involves steps or a climb, where you can leave a car and which entrance you would use. If you plan to work from home, confirm the installed internet service and test it at the property rather than relying on a general Wi-Fi description.

Donja Lastva: compare the home and your route

Tivat's official visitor brochure describes Donja Lastva as a coastal settlement connected to town by the waterfront promenade. The setting is useful to explore in person if you want regular time by the water.

The two Donja Lastva apartments currently presented by Riviera Pulse are seasonal offers, each with a one-bedroom layout. Their advertised winter period and occupancy terms need to fit your plans; the appeal of the location does not make a seasonal offer available for a full year. Open each listing for its own price, photographs and costs.

Use the viewing to narrow your shortlist

Walk the access route, open and close the windows, check the rooms you will use most and ask how heating, cooling and hot water work. Look at the actual storage, kitchen equipment and laundry arrangements. If something matters to your decision, ask for it to be confirmed for that unit.

Send Riviera Pulse your preferred dates, number of occupants, budget and any essential access or parking needs. We can compare those requirements with the published homes and check the relevant details with the owner.

  • Location: the area, entrance and journeys you expect to make.
  • Home: bedroom layout, heating, internet and essential appliances.
